My Latest Talk – Now Online!

Last week, I gave three talks in seven days. Here’s a link to one of them, which includes questions and answers.

When I first returned from this “temporary death experience,” several people asked me if I was going to write a book about this, and I said, ABSOLUTELY NOT.” As news of my remarkable story started to spread, many folks told me that I should write a book so that others could hear this story.

In those first days back from the hospital, I wrote out detailed notes (34 pages!) about the experience, but that was for me, because I didn’t want to forget a single bit of my visit to heaven. In time, those early notes evolved into a book-length manuscript.

It’s said that it takes the average person “seven years” to assimilate and understand their near-death experience. My NDE happened in September 2018, so it’s been 2-1/2 years. In my case, I needed those 2-1/2 years so I could finish the process of forgiving my husband. Sometimes healings happen quickly and sometimes they take more time and effort. Despite this lovely trip to heaven, my forgiveness was not “instantaneous” but required more time and space. I still cry on the hard days and I still miss him on the sad days and I will always wish like hell that he’d made different choices.

But he’s gone and there’s nothing I can do to bring him back. When we stood together in front of the minister 14+ years ago, I promised to love him “until death do us part.” He chose to leave this earth, and our marital ties were severed in death. Now when I think of him, I simply sigh and say, “From now on, I send you peace.”

My book should be out in about 30 days. Below is a sample page.
