So read the advertisement for the Avalon in the 1921 Sears Modern Homes catalog. The Avalon (an Honor Bilt home) is one of my favorite houses. It’s a classic Arts and Crafts bungalow with lot of flair and style. It’s got a nice floorplan (three bedrooms in about 1350 square feet), a wide-open porch, and a beautiful fireplace in the living room.
